Jackie Chan Photography and Design is a photography practice specialising in documenting Weddings and Social events. Based in Clovelly Sydney NSW Australia, Jackie has photographed wedding couples from around the world including Singapore, United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and China. His unique style of blending fine art and pure journalistic approach to photography has made him attracting clients from the creative industries including actors, film producers, architects, musicians, graphic designers and fashion designers.
Although having a successful career as an internationally awarded designer, Jackie has disillusioned by the overly commercially biased industry, and seeking for an outlet for his creative desire and serving the humanity. He started his photography career in 2005. He had photographed international interior spaces however his love remain to work with people, and he set up his wedding photography service in 2006.
In 2008 his wedding album has stormed the photography industry by winning the title of Wedding Album of the Year in both the Australian and New South Wales Australian Institute of Professional Photographer (AIPP) competitions, sponsored by the Canon - Australian Professional Photography Award (APPA) and Epson (NSW AIPP). His winning wedding album has achieved the highest scored ever given to a wedding album. He continued on winning both the awards again in the consecutive year in 2009. Since then his honest and pure journalistic wedding photography has become the new benchmark within the photography industry and being described by many photographers as inspirational.
